Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager - Road Safety Design to join our innovative team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for architecting and overseeing comprehensive strategies that enhance road safety across all phases of our development projects. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our transportation infrastructures are designed with the highest safety standards in mind, contributing to a secure and enjoyable visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of road safety design strategies in alignment with Qiddiya's vision and regulatory requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with engineers, planners, and external consultants to ensure cohesive and effective road safety measures.
• Conduct thorough safety analyses, including traffic assessments and road safety audits, to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
• Oversee the design of safe road layouts, signage, and pedestrian facilities, ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards.
• Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies and local communities, to promote road safety initiatives and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor emerging trends and advancements in road safety technologies and practices to innovate and improve our design approaches.
• Ensure effective documentation and communication of road safety guidelines and best practices across projects.
• Mentor and develop junior staff in road safety design principles and innovative practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in road safety design, traffic engineering, or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of road safety audit methodologies and risk assessment techniques.
• Proficient in transportation design software and tools, with strong analytical capabilities.
• Proven experience in managing complex design projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivering timely and cost-effective solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of local and international road safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
