Job Description - Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking MRICS qualified and ambitious Quantity Surveying and Cost Management professionals, who want to develop their career in a personable and professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Delivering Pre contract cost management commissions, particularly
feasibility
and concept design stageManaging projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the Gleeds procedures.Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships.Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Clients’ requirements.Preparing and presenting order of cost estimatesSenior cost planning.Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.Evaluating and reporting on tenders.Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.Settling final accounts.Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.Producing and presenting reports to Clients.Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projectsAbout You
Who we’re looking for:Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills10+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of pre contract quantity surveying3+ years’ experience in Saudi Arabia3+ years’ experience with a consultancy organization on pre contract projectsSound knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and planning.Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and writtenAbility to absorb complex information and assess requirements readilyAbility to work as part of a teamQualificationsDegree in Quantity SurveyingMRICS or equivalent chartered statusNative English level written and oral skillsAbout Us
