Job Description - Senior Sales Engineer

Senior Sales Engineer (Medium Voltage Switchgear)

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and establishing long-term relationships with our clients. You will leverage your technical expertise in the electrical manufacturing industry to understand customer requirements, provide product demonstrations, and offer solutions that align with their needs. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  2. Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the electrical manufacturing sector.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and meetings.
  4. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase our solutions and highlight their benefits.
  5. Collaborate with the engineering team to customize products and solutions according to customer specifications.
  6. Provide technical support and assistance to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  7. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts in a timely manner.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and establish partnerships.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in sales within the electrical manufacturing industry.
  3. Ideally someone from the Switchgear industry selling medium-voltage products
  4. Strong understanding of electrical components, systems, and manufacturing processes.
  5. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients at all levels.
  8. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  9. Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  10. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
