Senior Specialist - Strategic Procurement (CORS347)

Qiddiya Investment Company is leading a transformative project under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, focused on creating a world-class entertainment and cultural destination. We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist in Strategic Procurement who will play a significant role in shaping the procurement strategies vital to the success of this megaproject.

The Senior Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing effective procurement strategies across various categories, essential for ensuring operational success. You will work collaboratively with multiple departments, leveraging your expertise to enhance supplier performance and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. This position is pivotal in aligning procurement activities with Qiddiya’s overall objectives while ensuring compliance with high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement category and procurement strategies that align with project goals, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for strategic sourcing and negotiation tactics.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring optimal performance metrics and compliance with procurement standards.
• Support the operational needs of the business unit teams by providing insightful procurement strategies and performance reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement efforts with the strategic vision of Qiddiya.
• Support supplier diversity initiatives and localization efforts to promote local economic development.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or related projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP are highly encouraged.
• Strong understanding of procurement categories relevant to large-scale projects, including construction materials, FF&E, and operational supplies.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and manage relationships in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
