Job Description - Senior Specialist - Talent Management

The role directly supports the wider Talent team on several interconnected mandates:

1.  Assessment excellence: ensuring rigorous, evidence-based assessment of potential, performance, and capability.

2. Identification and development of High Potential talent.

3. Critical role succession planning.

4. Skills architecture and taxonomy design: defining the skills that matter now and in the future, and embedding them into talent, workforce planning, and learning systems.

5. Career pathing and progression frameworks: enabling transparent, meaningful career pathways that support mobility, succession, and long-term capability building.

This role will partner with senior colleagues in the team to enable implementation of talent management initiatives across assessment, career pathing, and succession planning, contributing to data analysis, materials preparation, and business engagement.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead components of the team’s key projects, taking accountability for outcomes.

·       Manage data analysis, reporting, and preparation of materials for talent reviews and development programs.

·       Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, and event coordination on behalf of the team

·       Own the implementation of talent management initiatives as needed.

·       Act as a subject-matter reference on key parts of the talent agenda.

·       Be a thought partner for senior colleagues and HRBPs

·       Provide versatile support across all team activities, including assessment, career pathing, succession planning, and skills profiling.

·       Relevant bachelor’s degree

·       Experience in Human Resources (appropriate depth for level)

·       Experience in handling confidential information

·       PowerPoint skills to create impactful slides

·       Advanced analytical and statistical skills, including strong Excel proficiency

·       Fluent English (spoken and written)

·       Builds strong internal and external networks; acts as a positive ambassador for the team

·       Discreet, mature, and trusted to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and respect

·       Future‑focused and curious; actively explores the use of technology and AI while managing associated risks

·       Strong analytical capability; able to reason with data, apply statistical thinking, and draw sound insights
