Senior Structural Engineer (Site Supervision)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will provide expert site supervision and technical oversight for structural construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and local building codes. You will serve as a key technical leader on-site, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to deliver high-quality structural work.

• Supervise and inspect structural construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to approved design drawings and specifications
• Conduct detailed technical reviews of structural work, identifying and resolving discrepancies or deviations from project requirements
• Analyze structural performance and quality issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of structural elements and compliance with safety protocols
• Review and approve material certifications, test reports, and quality documentation
• Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily reports, inspection logs, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, regulations, and project-specific requirements
• Collaborate with the design team to address field conditions and provide technical guidance on structural modifications when necessary
• Conduct regular site meetings to communicate progress, address concerns, and maintain project schedule alignment
• Mentor junior engineers and site staff on structural best practices and quality standards
• Perform quality assurance inspections and coordinate third-party testing and inspections as required

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in site supervision or site management roles
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and construction methodologies
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent)
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination
• Comprehensive understanding of Saudi building codes and regional construction standards
• Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, quality control, and safety protocols on construction sites
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively with diverse teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are preferred
• Professional Engineering License (PE) or equivalent professional certification
• Experience with project management tools and documentation systems
• Ability to work independently and make decisive technical decisions in a fast-paced environment
