Senior Systems Administrator - Aljabr Holding

The Senior Systems Administrator is taskedwith overseeing the daily operations and management of theorganizations IT infrastructure. This role involves ensuring thereliability efficiency and security of servers software andhardware systems. Key responsibilities include designing andimplementing system architectures performing system maintenance andupgrades managing cloudbased and onpremises environments andenforcing security protocols to safeguard against cyber threats.Additionally the Senior Systems Administrator provides technicalguidance to junior staff troubleshoots complex issues andcollaborates with IT teams to support the organizations technologyneeds.

MainDuties:

• Leadthe planning and design of system architectures to align withbusiness objectives.
• Perform advancedadministration of Active Directory services ensuring securityefficiency and compliance through daily monitoring and regularmaintenance.
• Manage VMware environmentsincluding routine checks and occasional maintenance to supportvirtualization needs across theorganization.
• Oversee the Cisco Hyperflexinfrastructure conducting regular monitoring reporting andmaintenance for optimal performance.
• Ensureseamless integration of new systems into the existinginfrastructure.
• Maintain business continuitythrough robust backup and failover procedures including dailymonitoring and regular backup tests.
• Implementcompliance measures via the Compliance Admin Center managing backupschedules retention policies and conducting regularaudits.
• Ensure system security by managingupdates and policies within the Defender Admin Center and maintainemail security through continuousmonitoring.
• Manage licenses within the Office365 Admin Center and oversee Exchange infrastructure and useraccounts for seamless mail flow and systemsecurity.
• Administer identities and privilegesthrough the Azure AD Portal MFA Portal and Teams Admin Portalincluding auditing reporting and managing MultiFactorAuthentication and Teamsadministration.
• Administer endpoint securitythrough EDR Solution ensuring daily operational security devicecontrol and data loss preventionmeasures.
• Tackle complex systems issuesrequiring indepth technical expertise.
• Leadroot cause analysis and develop preventive strategies forsystemrelated problems.
• Perform highlevelperformance tuning and resource optimization for criticalsystems.
• Conduct capacity planning toanticipate future system demands.
• Maintaincomprehensive records of all system configurations updates andprocedures to ensure audit compliance and facilitate efficientknowledge transfer within the organization.
  

Education andExperience:

• Bachelors degree in IT orequivalent.
• MCSA VCP and Azure AdministratorAssociate Certificate.
• A minimum of five yearsin systems administration with a strong background in systemsdesign implementation andtroubleshooting.
• Proven expertise in managingserver environments including Windows Server and virtualizationtechnologies such as VMware.
• Demonstratedability to lead a team of IT professionals providing guidance andmentorship to junior staff.
• Extensiveexperience with systems management tools and technologies relevantto the organizations infrastructure such as cloud services (Azure)and systems security solutions (endpoint protection dataencryption).
• Familiarity with automation andscripting languages (PowerShell) to streamline systemsadministration tasks.
