About the Role:

We are looking for an Senior Team Manager (Automation) to join our Poultry Processing team. This role will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing automated production systems, ensuring maximum equipment efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement across the processing plant.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience in automation, controls, and food processing equipment, particularly within high-volume poultry or FMCG environments.

This role requires strong operational leadership, technical expertise in rendering systems, and a hands‑on approach to safety, quality, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the maintenance and performance of automated processing lines, including slaughtering, evisceration, chilling, and packaging systems


• Ensure optimal operation of PLC, SCADA, and control systems to support continuous production


• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability


• Troubleshoot automation issues and coordinate with OEM suppliers where required


• Monitor KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and equipment efficiency, driving continuous improvement initiatives


• Ensure compliance with food safety and engineering standards (HACCP, GMP, safety protocols)


• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new automated equipment


• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance


• Lead and develop a team of technicians and supervisors, ensuring high performance and safety standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Engineering


• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in food processing or poultry operations


• Strong experience with automation systems, PLCs, SCADA, sensors, and industrial controls


• Hands-on experience with high-speed processing lines and automated machinery


• Knowledge of poultry processing equipment will be highly preferred


• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills


• Experience in preventive maintenance systems and reporting tools
