Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to assess and underwrite group and credit life insurance proposals, ensuring sound risk evaluation and competitive pricing. 

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and underwrite Group Life and Credit Life insurance proposals in line with company guidelines.

- Analyze group demographics, risk factors, and financials to determine appropriate terms and pricing.

- Collaborate with sales, actuarial, and operations teams to support client acquisition and retention.

- Review existing group portfolios and recommend renewal terms and risk management strategies.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Group Life and/or Credit Life Underwriting.

- Strong knowledge of employee benefits schemes, group mortality trends, and credit life products.

- Familiarity with underwriting software and digital tools is a plus.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
