Sheet Metal Technician

1. Assist
in inspecting, evaluating, and repairing Structural damage

2. Assist
in fabricating repair patches, hydraulic lines and tubing

3. Assist
in repairing composite structures

4. Assist
in buffing canopies and wind screens

5. Assist
in locating drilling/trimming to fit replacement panels, skins, and structures

6. Uses
precision measuring equipment and hand tools

7. Documents
the maintenance records and historical data files required

8. Uses
power/non power AGE and Applicable test equipment

9. Assist
in researching, ordering and receiving parts

10. Performs
OT training with assigned RSAF trainees as required

Requirements

1. 7
Skill level F -15 airframe

2. Knowledge
of OJT Training and Documentation

3. Working
Knowledge of T.O.'s, Maintenance Manuals and IPB's

4. Working
Knowledge of aircraft Structural damage assessment

5. Uses
blueprints, drawings, and engineering dispositions

6. Working
Knowledge of Heat -Treating Process
