SIS Developer

We are looking for a technically proficient SIS Developer to join our enterprise systems team. This role is focused on the backend development and technical configuration of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the SIS consultant and business analyst, focusing exclusively on system development, integration, and maintenance tasks.

The developer will play a key role in building and maintaining PeopleSoft customizations, APIs, interfaces, and reports that support academic and administrative processes. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong hands-on experience in technical tools and integration frameworks within the PeopleSoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions components using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and related tools.
  

• Build and support REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
  

• Develop batch processes, reports (SQR/BI Publisher), and data extracts as per technical specifications.
  

• Participate in technical design reviews and code walkthroughs.
  

• Collaborate with the internal SIS consultant and business analyst for clarifying functional specs and translating them into efficient code.
  

• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and technical support across SIS modules.
  

• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and environment migrations from a technical perspective.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions technical development.
  

• Strong experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Integration Broker.
  

• Solid understanding of REST and SOAP APIs with proven experience building and consuming them.
  

• Good working knowledge of Oracle SQL and relational database concepts.
  

• Experience with SQR, BI Publisher, and other reporting tools.
  

• Familiarity with tools such as PeopleTools, Application Designer, Data Mover, and Change Assistant.
