Job Description - Site Foreman





 





About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced Site Foremen for two specialist disciplines:

Site Foreman – Interior Finishing
Site Foreman – MEP

The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, managing large teams of workers, and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with engineers and other site disciplines.

 

This is a contract-based role with the engagement duration period of September 1, 2026 until April 29, 2027.

 

Key Responsibilities


Site Supervision & Workforce Management


  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

  • Lead and manage a workforce of 40+ site personnel, ensuring productivity and adherence to site standards.

  • Allocate daily tasks, monitor progress, and resolve site issues promptly.

  • Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to support project execution.




Project Execution


  • Site Foreman – Interior Finishing

    • Supervise high-end interior finishing works, including:

    • Woodwork and joinery

    • Flooring installations

    • Stone and marble cladding

    • Ceramic and porcelain tiling

    • Ceiling and wall finishes

    • Other architectural fit-out works

    • Ensure exceptional workmanship, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout all finishing activities.






Site Foreman – MEP


  • Supervise Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installation works in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.

  • Coordinate MEP activities with civil and finishing teams to maintain project progress and avoid clashes or rework.

  • Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with technical requirements.




Technical Coordination


  • Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Accurately set out dimensions and layouts on site.

  • Coordinate closely with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Identify and resolve site conflicts before they impact project progress.




Quality, Safety & Compliance


  • Ensure all work complies with project specifications and quality standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections and address workmanship issues promptly.

  • Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and promote safe working practices on site.

  • Minimize rework through effective planning, coordination, and quality control.

  • Reporting

  • Provide daily progress updates to the Site Engineer or Project Engineer.

  • Report manpower requirements, material shortages, site challenges, and project progress.

  • Support project planning and scheduling to achieve key milestones.




Qualifications & Experience


  • Minimum 7–10 years of site supervision experience within the construction or fit-out industry.

  • Proven experience managing large teams on construction projects.

  • For the Interior Finishing role, experience in high-end interior fit-out and finishing projects is essential.

  • For the MEP role, proven experience supervising Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installations is required.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings.

  • Previous GCC or Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.

Language Requirements


  • Arabic or Urdu is preferred.

  • English communication skills are an advantage.




Working conditions


Location: Project sites across Saudi Arabia.
Working Hours: 12 hours per day.
Project Duration: Initial 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.


Preferred Candidate Profile



  • Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia with a valid transferable Iqama are highly preferred.

  • Candidates from nationalities with straightforward Saudi work visa processing may also be considered.

  • Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.

  • Willing to work across project sites within Saudi Arabia as required.
