Solar Project Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

 - Supporting the contract in completion of planned project activities. - 

-Monitor project progress and ensure all activities are completed in the required timeline. 

- Ensure Contractor obtains all required approvals for all project documentation.

 - Manage all project internal and external interfaces. 

- Update and review progress on a weekly basis and highlight areas of concern that require intervention. 

- Prepare and issue weekly progress reports for projects.

 - Prepare periodic slides for executive management presentation.

 Project management support 

- Support Project Manager in project execution, field visits, and technical project review. 

- Compile inputs to prepare project planning reports. 

Retrofit implementation support 

- Support in supervising the ESCOs responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of projects. 

- Support in the Project Manager in managing the relationship with the Government entity. 

Post-retrofit support 

- Support the supervision of O&M services provided.

 - Support the Project Manager in ensuring that the performance guarantees are satisfied. 

- Liaise with Finance / Legal to resolve any issue

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related field 

• CEM / CMVP certification is preferred.

 • SEC designer or installer solar certification is preferred.
