Sr. Discipline Engineer (Landscape)

JASARA PMC is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Discipline Engineer (Landscape) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the landscape design for various projects, ensuring that all landscaping aspects meet client expectations and are integrated seamlessly into the overall project objectives. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and sustainable landscape solutions that enhance the aesthetic and functional qualities of the projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead landscape design efforts on projects from concept through to construction, ensuring design integrity and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Develop detailed landscape plans, specifications, and planting schedules in alignment with project goals.
• Conduct site assessments to analyze existing conditions and inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create cohesive designs that integrate landscaping with architecture and civil works.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to junior engineers and landscape architects.
• Review and approve landscape-related submissions and documentation from design partners and contractors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and innovative landscape design techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in landscape design and engineering, preferably with a focus on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of plant materials, irrigation systems, and environmental sustainability practices.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and landscape design applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is a plus.
• Familiarity with local regulations and guidelines related to landscape design in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
