Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Sr. Document Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, control, and distribution of critical documents across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of document accuracy and accessibility.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems and procedures
  • Manage the lifecycle of documents from creation to archival or disposal
  • Ensure all documents are properly indexed, filed, and easily retrievable
  • Coordinate with various departments to collect, organize, and distribute documentation
  • Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Train staff on document control procedures and best practices
  • Implement and maintain version control systems for all documents
  • Generate reports on document status, usage, and other relevant metrics
  • Collaborate with IT department to optimize document management software and systems
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive documents

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field
  • 10 years of experience in document control, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong skills in database management, filing, and archiving systems
  • Experience with data entry, retrieval, and quality control procedures
  • Knowledge of industry-specific documentation standards and regulations
  • Familiarity with project management principles
  • Experience working with large-scale projects or multinational organizations
  • Certifications in document management or records management (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic
