Job Description - Staff Nurses for Pediatric Intensive care Unit

Job Description

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Nursing.

3 years of experience in the same Field .

Dataflow is a must.

Saudi license holder is a plus.

Fluent in English.

Job description and responsibilities

Monitoring patient vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, and weight on a frequent basis to ensure they are within normal limits

Monitoring the child’s progress and communicating with other health care professionals regarding treatment plans and patient progress

Performing physical examinations on patients, including listening to lungs with a stethoscope and checking pulses in arms and legs

Preparing infants for feeding by suctioning out their noses and mouths with a bulb syringe

Monitoring the infant’s feeding schedule, administering feeding through a tube that has been inserted into the stomach through the navel, and changing diapers as needed

Recording information about patient symptoms, reactions to medications, and progress during nursing assessments

Observing and documenting patient behavior, including interactions with family members, visitors, and staff members

Providing emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times, such as death or serious illness.

For Head nurses and charge nurses must have leadership and managment ability and skills .
