Duties:

TheBusiness Analyst - IT serves as a liaison at a project levelthrough which requirements flow between the internal customercommunity, IT development teams, and endcustomers.

Work withapplication and project teams to gather, analyze, communicate andvalidate the requirements for enhancements to applications, bothinternally developed and purchased softwaresystems.

Serve the teamas a liaison between the various stakeholders groups to ensurerequirements are fully defined according to Software DevelopmentLifecycle and project management processes with a focus on ITILapproaches to service and knowledgemanagement.

Requiresexperience and understanding of Clients Information Technology andInformation Servicesenvironment.

Projectmanagement proficiencies should include the ability to facilitatemeetings and documentation, development, testing, communication,education, implementation, and ongoing support needs forapplication and quality improvementprojects.

Provide changemanagement and governance recommendations for subsequentapplication releases and will review testing plans to ensure theiradequacy to verify that all requirements are met sufficiently toobtain customer acceptance of alldeliverables.

Participate withgroups inside and outside the department to continue theadvancement of Business Analysis role in thedepartment.

Help the projectteam understand the Business Analysis process and tools being usedto effectively accomplish theirmission.

Some methods andtools used to execute this function include: user interviews,document analysis, system analysis, surveys, site visits, usecases, story boarding, task and workflowanalysis.

Skills:

Okta experienceispreferred.

Education:

High School /GED and 4 years of Business Analyst training/certification andBusiness Analyst experience. OR An Associates degree and 2 yearsexperience as a business analyst or Bachelorsdegree.

Requiresproficiency with the Microsoft OfficeSuite.

Experience withITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) based ServiceManagementtools.
