About the Role:
We are supporting a major PMC bid for a large-scale port and mining infrastructure development in Oman and are seeking an experienced Project Director / Team Leader to lead the multidisciplinary supervision team.

The role will act as the Client’s representative under FIDIC (Engineer), overseeing design review, construction supervision, and contract management across marine, port, and mine infrastructure works [Scope of Works | PDF]

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the PMC team and act as the primary Client interface
• Oversee construction supervision for port, marine, and mine works
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams and contractors
• Ensure compliance with technical, contractual, and safety standards
• Lead progress reporting, stakeholder coordination, and project governance
• Oversee integration of breakwater, berths, MHS, utilities, and quarry operations

Mandatory Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Marine/Ports preferred)
• Minimum 20+ years experience, with 10+ years in port/marine projects
• Proven experience as Project Director / Team Leader on major port projects
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts (Yellow Book preferred)
• Experience managing EPC/PMC construction supervision
• Fluent in English
