Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Retail Banking. The ideal candidate will act as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams—translating complex business needs into precise technical requirements, while clearly communicating technical realities and integration constraints back to business owners.

This role demands exceptional documentation discipline, sharp communication skills, and strong techno-functional expertise across core banking, CRM, payment systems, and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation & Documentation

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs with product, operations, compliance, and channels teams to capture business requirements.


• Author clear, detailed, and audit-ready functional/technical artifacts (BRD, FRD, FSD, User Stories, RTM).


• Prepare use cases, wireframes/mock-ups, and precise acceptance criteria.

Process Mapping & System Integration

• Map end-to-end business process flows and system interaction diagrams across core banking, CRM, mobile/internet banking, and payment gateways.


• Collaborate closely with enterprise architects and developers to review API contracts, data flows, and interface touchpoints.


• Translate technical system constraints and API limitations back to business leaders in plain language to guide decision-making.

Delivery & Stakeholder Facilitation

• Manage multi-vendor delivery environments, aligning business priorities with external system integrators and internal IT teams.


• Lead requirement walkthroughs, sign-off sessions, and scope clarification meetings.


• Support UAT planning and execution—writing test scenarios, coordinating sign-offs, and validating delivered functionality against baseline requirements.


• Ensure all business processes and solution designs align with local SAMA regulatory standards.

Mandatory Skill sets :

• 6–8 Years of BA Experience in Retail Banking: Hands-on experience working across retail banking products, digital channels, or asset/lending products.


• KSA Market & Regulatory Experience: Direct experience working within or with banks/fintechs in Saudi Arabia, with a working understanding of SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) guidelines and compliance requirements.


• Asset / Lending Product Exposure: Proven exposure to origination, underwriting, servicing, or collections of workflows for Personal Finance, Home Finance (Mortgage), or Credit Cards.


• Techno-Functional & Integration Depth: Ability to understand API specs, data models, middleware, and integration diagrams, and translate technical constraints into plain business language (and vice versa).


• End-to-End Documentation Mastery: Strong track record in creating audit-ready BRDs, FRDs, FSDs, Process Diagrams (Visio/Lucidchart), User Stories, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).


• Multi-Vendor Stakeholder Management: Hands-on experience facilitating workshops and liaising between business owners, in-house technical teams, and external system integrators (SIs).
