Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier-I to handle cash transactions, customer payments, receipts, and daily cash reconciliation. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and efficient processing of transactions while maintaining high standards of customer service and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Issue receipts, invoices, and other required transaction documents.
• Verify cash amounts and maintain accurate records of daily transactions.
• Reconcile cash balances at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain proper custody and security of cash and payment-related documents.
• Assist customers and respond to payment-related inquiries professionally.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls related to cash handling.
• Prepare and submit daily cash reports and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Finance and other relevant departments when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in cashiering, accounting, or a similar role is preferred.
• Good numerical and basic accounting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with cashiering/POS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Honest, responsible, and trustworthy with strong cash-handling discipline.
