Urban Designer

Urban Planner

CLEAR is seeking a forward-thinking Urban Planner to work In Al Bahah Region to contribute to the development of sustainable and vibrant urban environments. In this role, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement urban planning strategies that meet the needs of diverse communities while promoting sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of urban environments, including demographic, economic, and environmental factors to inform planning decisions.
• Develop land use plans, zoning regulations, and policies to guide urban development and community growth.
• Engage with community stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and government agencies, to gather input and facilitate participation in the planning process.
• Create detailed reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate planning concepts and proposals clearly.
• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, landscape architects, and other professionals to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of urban plans and policies, making adjustments as needed to respond to changing community needs.
• Stay current with trends in urban planning, sustainability, and local government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in urban planning, community development, or regional planning.
• Membership or eligibility for membership in a recognized planning accreditation body (such as APA) is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in planning and design software (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Strong analytical skills and experience with demographic analysis and spatial data.
• Ability to create compelling visualizations and presentations using design software.
