Job Description - WAITER
To prepare for service as directed by the Head Chef / Supervisor. Setting tables with table linens, crockery, cutlery and glassware, to serve food and beverages as home delivery service, ensuring a high standard of service to ensure that the restaurant is maintained in clean and hygienic conditionsat all times.To work in all areas of the catering department undertaking a variety of tasks as required, including general cleaning, stores, movement of equipment and waste disposal.·
Prepares necessary beverages for guests.·
Wraps utensil packs in accordance with the various orders.·
Placing and serving the food for the client.·
Transports to and deliver the meal from the kitchen to the service line·
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of all food service areas, crockery and cutlery wares, bain-marie’s, trolleys, shelves, refrigerators and hot cabinets, plus the sweeping and mopping of all floors in the restaurant area.·
