Work Permit Receiver - Scaffolding

Act as the authorized Work Permit Receiver for scaffolding-related activities in refractory works.

Apply for, obtain, and close work permits (Hot Work, Confined Space, Height Work, Cold Work, etc.) as per site requirements.

Conduct site inspection prior to permit application to identify hazards and define risk mitigation measures.

Ensure scaffolding erection, alteration, and dismantling activities are carried out as per approved drawings, standards, and safety guidelines.

Coordinate between scaffolding crew, safety team, and permit issuer for daily activities.

Verify that all workers involved have valid certifications (Scaffolding Inspector/Scaffolder, Safety Passport, Height Work Training, etc.).

Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with HSE standards at all times.

Maintain records of daily permits, safety observations, and compliance checklists.

Immediately report any unsafe condition, near-miss, or incident to the HSE officer / Site Incharge.

Support refractory supervisors and safety teams to ensure smooth execution of project schedules.
