Job Description - Zakat, VAT, Tax Specialist

Assist in building company and investment strategies to optimize VAT & ZAKAT returns.
Ensure that corporation VAT & ZAKAT return preparation complies with all regulatory criteria.
Review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
Suggest new policies and procedures to improve the gathering of VAT & ZAKAT information from appropriate department managers
Prepare, process, and manage paperwork for all areas of the accounting cycle, ending in the preparation and submission of VAT & ZAKAT returns.
Verify the accuracy of records and documents relevant to VAT & ZAKAT reporting and preparation.
Maintain written and spoken communications between the company and all relevant vendors and regulatory bodies.
Keep current with developments in the VAT & ZAKAT code and accounting laws.
Conduct research on VAT & ZAKAT compliance issues at both local and national levels.
