What experience is needed to perform in this role?

• Business Intelligence experience within FMCG (preferably confectionary) within the Middle East (experience of Africa would be preferable)

• Strong competency level of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs. Demonstrable experience with VB, DAX, Power Query [BI] or Power Pivot will be an advantage.

• Examples of working with data and dashboards to ensure ongoing business excellence

• Being comfortable with ambiguity but thrive on process to drive consistency in operation.

• Examples of self-generated systems/tools to improve insight generation and sales actions.

Our roles in BCBI AMEA require your flexibility and openness, you’ll be here to ensure we function as a cohesive team in the region. However, to give everyone some clarity, the role will broadly cover these main areas;

Management of agencies, data and systems:

• Custodian of all distributor IMS, Nielsen, Intage, EuroMonitor (and other) data which is received ensuring that all BCBI Databases are correctly and timely updated each month without any mistakes.

• Relationship manager of our store audit agency, Nielsen and Intage contacts ensuring that contracts are competitively renewed annually with increased functionality.

• Set up new markets for store audit processes and train/retrain relevant sales teams on application use in store.

• Ensure all categorization of MSL, OSA Plannogram listings and stock outs are accurate and clearly communicated to our audit and distributor partners.

• Management and development of BCBI customer sales and mapping systems ensuring accurate financial trade spend data is populated monthly in line with the monthly performance reviews.

Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain Data Insight:

• Creation of KSA IMS month end and Nielsen reporting dashboards and distribution to KSA sales team. Provide summary insight to Regional Director and International Sales Director regarding key changes across major markets with relation to BCBI and category performance.

• Generate and lead category management projects and sales insight decks to support sales initiatives with key distributor and retailer partners

• Analyse JBP performance monthly and provide insight at monthly performance reviews (and respective course correction recommendations)

• Publish in-store KPI trackers daily to distributor sales teams and ensure closure on in-store actions liaising with BCBI Business Development Managers)

• Review in-store promotion and channel initiatives performance and ensure sales teams are held accountable for initial sales expectations.

• Gather market & competitor pricing and execution analysis monthly and analyse BCBI performance against these parameters recommending best practice where sensible.

• Monthly updating of all JBP and External Performance KPI dashboards.

• Creation of Quarterly Team Meeting and Annual Business Plan Templates and Operating Plans

• Provide all miscellaneous data requirements requested by any of our business partner agencies or distributors.

• Manage all ad-hoc data analysis requests from sales team and Regional Director.

Project work:

• Lead all data insight into NPD entry rationale for KSA markets

• Drive automation improvements led by Regional Director vision for systematic continuous improvement

• Conduit for the integration of KSA commercial tools into further Asian and European markets working closely with other regional directors to support seamless integration.

• Lead the integration of PER sales and supply process components currently manually derived or calculated via Excel into BCBI ERP systems.
