Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the team of in-house copywriters and the copywriting agency
for English and Arabic.
Imbibe and implement the copywriting guidelines created for all our brands.
Co-ordinate and manage daily allocations and priority product queues between
the team and the agency.
Conduct quality checks for the copies written by the team, create and share daily
error reports with the management and provide feedback to the writers.
Reduce and maintain the copywriting error rate below 2%.
Train and implement any new changes made to the guidelines.
Research and enhance product types, styles of copy, benchmarks and standards
for our product copy along with incorporating SEO effective measures.
Manage day-to-day activities of the team and provide updates.
Qualifications:
6-8 years of blended experience in copywriting and managing a team.
Proven work experience as a Senior Copywriter, Product Copywriter or similar
role.
Portfolio of published work.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Previous experience in leading and managing a team of copywriters.
Effective team management capabilities.
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems.
An ability to write creative copy for product descriptions.
Solid time-management skills.
SEO knowledge is mandatory.
Knowledge of Arabic language is of added value.
