Accounting and Controlling Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting and Controlling Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting and controlling functions within our organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies. The Accounting and Controlling Manager will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as providing strategic insights to support decision-making at the executive level.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting and controlling functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
2. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvement.
4. Develop and implement internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
5. Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
6. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to establish targets and monitor performance against goals.
7. Oversee the preparation and submission of government reports, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
8. Manage the relationship with external auditors and ensure timely completion of annual audits.
9. Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, ensuring their professional development and adherence to best practices.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and controlling roles, preferably in the private sector.
3. Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting regulations and standards.
4. Proficient in financial analysis and reporting, with advanced Excel skills.
5. Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
