Job Purpose:
The Strategy Planning Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the development, & implementation, of the organization's strategic initiatives. This role involves conducting thorough analysis, collaborating with key stakeholders, and formulating strategies to drive business growth and competitive advantage. The Strategy Planning Assistant Manager ensures alignment between the organization's goals, resources, and market opportunities. Functional Accountabilities:
• Planning: Develop and execute the organization's strategic planning process, including environmental analysis, internal assessments, goal setting, and strategy development. Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Formulation: Collaborate with senior management team to formulate strategic initiatives and action plans. Ensure that strategies align with the organization's mission, vision, and long-term objectives. • Alignment: Align the strategy with key stakeholders to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.
• Communication: Communicate strategic direction and progress to senior management, stakeholders, and employees. Develop compelling presentations and reports to effectively convey strategy updates, objectives, and performance results.
• Improvement: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the strategic planning process and identify areas for improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance strategic planning methodologies.
• Management: Lead change management efforts related to strategy implementation. Facilitate organizational alignment and ensure that employees understand the strategic objectives and their role in driving success. Education
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Strategy, or a related field Experience, Skills & Competencies • Minimum 3 years of experience as a business analyst. • Proven experience in strategic planning, preferably in a managerial role. • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Strong project management skills. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various levels. • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving strategic objectives. • Proficiency in using strategic planning software and tools is a plus.
