Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive logistics plans, aligning project timelines, resource allocation, and budget considerations to ensure seamless integration with overall project goals, especially in the early phases of planning.
2. Provide oversight for on-site logistics operations, ensuring efficient coordination of materials, equipment, and personnel to meet project milestones.
3. Resource Management Optimization.
4. Establish and manage on-site warehouses, implementing robust inventory control measures to track and manage stock levels effectively.
5. Mixed-Use Construction Expertise: Apply specialized knowledge to effectively manage logistics for mixed-use construction projects, addressing the unique challenges associated with diverse project elements.
6. Communication and Collaboration: Foster open and effective communication with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive understanding of logistics plans and timelines.
7. Risk Management and Safety Implementation: Identify potential logistics risks and proactively develop strategies for mitigation, incorporating safety protocols and compliance measures to ensure a secure working environment.
8. Support in preparing technical as well as commercial offers for new projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree in a similar area will be a plus.
• Middle East project experience is an advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in one (or more) of the following areas for mixed-use projects: Construction Logistics, Construction Supply Chain Management, Site Logistics, Construction Logistics Planning, Warehousing, Traffic Logistics, Plant Management.
• Proficient in managing conflicts and delivering effective resolutions with clients.
• Strong social competence, fostering effective collaborations internally and externally.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, site supervision, and logistics planning.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools for logistics management, e.g. Primavera P6, Tekla, SAP S/4HANA for Construction, Aconex (Oracle Construction and Engineering Cloud).
• Fluency in English is a must (speaking and writing); Arabic will be an asset.
• Flexibility to travel across the region and readiness to support the global business activities.
