Function :
· The HVAC Sales Engineer will conduct sales acquisition, quote preparation, project coordination (turnover), and account management activities in the assigned geographic and/or vertical market territory in support of company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Understanding Customer Needs: Identify customer requirements and challenges to propose suitable products or solutions.
· Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations or demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits.
· Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales strategies and provide technical support during the sales process.
· Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of company products or services, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
· Proposal Development: Assist in creating proposals, quotations, and bids for potential customers.
· Quote Preparation: Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive price quotes based on customer requirements and company pricing policies.
· Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their evolving needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, contracts, and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
· Post-Sales Support: Provide technical support and assistance to customers after the sale, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
· Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential customers.
· Training: Conduct training sessions for customers or internal teams on product usage, features, and updates.
· Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
· Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
· Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
·
Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer
· Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions
· Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
· Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
· Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent presentation and creativity skills
· Willingness to travel
