IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager with a proven track record in leadership and management within the information technology field. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in managerial roles, demonstrating expertise in cybersecurity, cloud server management, and IT help desk operations. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the security and efficiency of the systems, and providing strategic guidance for technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the maintenance and security of all IT systems, including networks, servers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud servers and services.
• Coordinate IT help desk support activities, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and inquiries.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective IT solutions.
• Monitor IT budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve IT operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management roles, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing, and help desk operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing IT challenges.
• Experience with IT project management methodologies and tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or ITIL are desirable.
