Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for solving mechanical problems. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing any issues
2. Perform regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify and address potential problems before they escalate
3. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans
4. Assist in the installation of new mechanical equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality
5. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on mechanical systems
7. Stay up to date with advancements in mechanical technology and techniques
8. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as required

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
4. Excellent problem-solving skills
5. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work well in a team environment
8. Flexibility to work on-call or overtime as needed
