1. Merchant Partnerships and Acquisitions:
·Develop and
execute strategic plans to acquire new high-value merchant partners for the
company's payment processing services.
·Leverage extensive
industry connections and relationships to identify, qualify, and onboard
premium merchants across various verticals.
·Manage the full
lifecycle of merchant acquisition, including prospecting, presentations,
contract negotiations, and onboarding.
·Consistently meet
or exceed quarterly and annual targets for new merchant acquisition and revenue
generation.
2. Merchant Relationship Management:
·Serve as the
trusted advisor to prospective and existing merchant partners, understanding
their pain points and delivering tailored solutions.
·Build and maintain
strong relationships with key decision-makers at target merchant accounts
through regular check-ins and value-added support.
·Work
cross-functionally with teams in sales, operations, underwriting, and account
management to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing service delivery.
3. Strategic
Insights and Execution:
·Identify and
capitalize on emerging market trends and industry opportunities to drive new
merchant acquisition.
·Provide feedback
and insights to company leadership to help shape the overall merchant
acquisition strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
·Work closely with
teams in Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Engineering to support merchant
acquisition and partnership initiatives.
·5+ years of proven
experience in merchant/partner acquisition in the payments, fintech, or
financial services industry.
·Demonstrated track
record of exceeding sales quotas and growing a portfolio of high-value merchant
accounts.
·Exceptional
consultative sales skills, with the ability to navigate complex decision-making
processes.
·Strong negotiation
and contract management capabilities.
·Excellent
communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
·Thorough
understanding of the payments ecosystem and merchant service offerings.
·Bachelor's degree
in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
