Quality Assurance (Specializing In Fruits & Vegetables/Food & Beverage Sector)

We are looking to hire a Quality Assurance candidate
with the following condition: 1- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agriculture, or related field.
2- Proven experience in quality assurance within the Food & Beverage sector, with specialization in fruits and vegetables.
3- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices specific to fruits and vegetables.
4- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards, including GAP, GMP, and HACCP.
5- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
6- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications in food safety and quality assurance are desirable but not required. Job description :
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases specific to fruits and vegetables to validate freshness, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with growers, suppliers, and distributors to ensure that quality standards
-Implement quality control measures to minimize waste and maximize product shelf life while maintaining high standards of quality.
-Conduct sensory evaluation, microbiological testing, and pesticide residue analysis to assess the quality of fruits and vegetables.
-Document and track quality metrics, and work closely with cross-functional teams to address any issues and implement corrective actions.
-Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensure compliance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
-Participate in audits and inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. *available to join locally with transferable iqama
