Responsibilities
• Harden infrastructure and cloud-native environments by introducing secure designs and features • Drive cloud and network security initiatives • Integrate security into applications throughout the software development lifecycle • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure software deployment • Write code, conduct security peer reviews, and implement automation scripts • Deploy secure architectures using infrastructure-as-code
Requirements
• 5+ years of previous experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Application/Product Security, or software development with a focus on security • Experience in managing cloud platforms and services, preferably AWS and OCI • Experience with infrastructure automation, network segmentation, system hardening, container security concepts, and security observability • Understanding of network security, cloud security concepts, and industry best practices • Experience with Golang and/or Python • Comfortable with ambiguity and making informed decisions • Ability to make trade-offs between build vs. buy decisions • Understanding of secure engineering best practices • Ability to articulate problem statements and propose solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
