Job Description - Strategic Initiative Manager

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Strategic Initiative Manager to join our team! In this role you will provide direction and support in implementing Qiddiya strategic initiatives and organizational improvements to the XCS Assurance functional areas of Quality, Health, Safety and Welfare, and Environment and Sustainability and XDS Project Delivery teams.

You will identify and implementing opportunities for initiatives and improvements to benefit the delivery of the Qiddiya Program.

Involved in advising on organizational strategic initiatives and proposal development, recommending solutions, and supporting implementation. Fostering internal and external partnerships and responding to the objectives and priorities of the organization. The position is responsible for the planning to implementation and monitoring of organizational, and community partnership projects, to ensure the objectives of the organization and XCS can be carried out efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading on development and implementation of XCS Assurance initiatives and practices.
  • Consulting with XCS Functional Leads and XDS teams to obtaining feedback and identifying areas of improvement to organizational practices through consultation with XCS Functional Leads and XDS teams.
  • Develop communications to a multitude of stakeholders for company initiatives.
  • Advise on draft policies and procedures and supporting on updates to Program Standards
  • Participates in Assurance Reviews and Governance Activities where required.
  • Performs other XCS Assurance responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field) or Occupational Safety and Health or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience in construction or similar field, including managerial experience
  • Knowledge of organizational practices, processes and current technology
  • Business Management experience with knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment Management
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including private sector, education, special interest groups, community members, representatives of government at all levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving and exercising excellent judgement regarding timing and senior management involvement in significant issues
  • Ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and extreme attention to detail
  • Capable to conduct focused briefings to all levels of management
