Manager of Business Intelligence

Job Description:

The Manager of Business Intelligence is responsible for overseeing the organization's business intelligence (BI) initiatives,

managing the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, and designing and implementing the data

architecture. This role ensures that data is efficiently and accurately collected, transformed, and loaded into BI systems,

and that the data architecture is scalable, secure, and optimized to support the organization's BI initiatives and data driven decision-making.

Responsibilities & Roles:

• Develop and maintain a robust ETL framework to support BI initiatives

• Manage the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources

• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the ETL process

• Design and implement a scalable and secure data architecture

• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights

• Design and implement BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations

• Optimize BI system performance and ensure scalability

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the BI, ETL, and data architecture team

• Stay up-to-date with the latest BI, ETL, and data architecture technologies and best practices

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, ETL, and data architecture

• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices

• Expertise in ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS) & Proficient in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

• Experience with data modeling techniques and tools

• Strong knowledge of database management systems and SQL

• Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent project management and leadership abilities

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
