Digital | Advantage is a leading digital consultancy and full-service agency operating in Saudi Arabia and across the GCC.  We partner with clients, founders, & investors to build and sustain digital advantage. This includes a wide range of activities ranging from Web / Mobile Application design and development, to social media management and optimization, to designing and executing state of the art digital marketing campaigns.

We are currently headquartered in Jeddah, have offices at King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) and Amman, and staff working directly with clients in Riyadh and Dammam.

The selected intern will be staffed on a project Full Time at our client’s offices in Jeddah with an important client of ours that has recently launched a Startup Program / Accelerator.  Our role with this client is to help them find 4 amazing startups that are the best match for the investment criteria they put forth, and to generate awareness, interest, and positive buzz about our client’s program among stakeholders in the Saudi and Bahraini startup scene.    

So what will YOU be doing specifically?   You will contribute to four key mandates we have on this project:   

1. Finding: Identifying, Cataloging, and Adding/Updating Information on Startups in Our Database  

2. Filtering: Learn more about what we are looking for, how to evaluate and screen startups, and help us get to our shortlist of candidates to consider.

3. Fact Finding: performing many research-related tasks on industry benchmarks, best practices, and success stories.  You may even participate in helping interview and summarizing fresh insights from successful entrepreneurs   

You will get as much responsibility as you can handle / earn and we promise this will be a rewarding and enriching experience for those who really apply themselves to the tasks at hand.

What else are we looking for?  

1. Drive / Work Ethic: this will not be a 9 to 5 job and 40 hour work week.  I suggest you find another line of work if that’s all you have to give.  

2. Intelligence, Intellectual Curiosity, and Willingness to Learn: Being smart is table-stakes, it’s what we expect from all our candidates.  What sets apart the ones we will ultimately select is their intellectual curiosity and willingness / capacity to learn.  You are hungry for knowledge and constantly looking to learn / apply new concepts.

3. Pride  / Commitment to Excellence: You’d rather fall on your sword like a Samurai than hand in shoddy work.  You guard your (and your company’s) reputation with care. You understand that your work reflects on you and others around you.  Believe me, you won’t be with us long if it's not at least taken seriously.

4. Humility, Positive Energy, and Team Spirit:  We do have a simple rule...we don’t hire jerks we don’t enjoy working or hanging out with.  Show some class, act like you’ve been in this position before and get that teams destroy individuals every single time.

Position is ideally for staffing in Jeddah but open to other locations in Saudi Arabia.
