Summary:

As an intern, you will join the ESG & Sustainability Advisory Practice, where innovation, impact, and purpose converge. You will work closely with consultants and subject matter experts on real-world client projects, internal service development, and research tasks that support our growing ESG and sustainability portfolio.  

This internship is ideal for students passionate about climate action, sustainable development, and purpose-led transformation—and curious about the role consulting plays in shaping a more responsible future.

Start: Monday 29 June 2026 

End: Thursday 27 August 2026 

Your Main Duties Will Include: 

Support Market Research & Benchmarking  
Conduct secondary research on ESG trends, sustainability regulations, and best practices across key sectors (banking, logistics, manufacturing, FMCG etc.)  

Contribute to Value Proposition Enhancement  
Help refine New Metrics’ ESG service offerings (e.g., ESG maturity assessments, net-zero strategy, materiality assessments) by analyzing client needs, market gaps, and competitive offerings  

Assist in Presentation & Proposal Development  
Build and enhance pitch decks, technical proposals, and internal knowledge assets, improving your consulting presentation skills and business storytelling  

Conduct ESG Data Analysis & Insights Generation   
Analyze ESG datasets, sustainability KPIs, and benchmarking results to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities for clients.   

Support ESG Reporting & Disclosure Projects 
Assist in preparing ESG/sustainability reports aligned with frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, TCFD.  

Develop Thought Leadership Content 
Help prepare articles, insights, whitepapers, newsletters, and social media content on ESG and sustainability topics.  

What We Expect From You:

• Final-year undergraduate students or Master's students currently enrolled in relevant academic programs, such as Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Public Policy, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines 


• Strong research and analytical skills, with a passion for sustainability and consulting  


• Familiarity with sustainability concepts, ESG frameworks, or climate-related disclosures is a plus  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English  


• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with data analysis or design tools is a bonus  


• Self-starter with curiosity, collaboration, and an eagerness to learn
