NIQ Early Career Program: Internship Commercial (SMB Team) F/M

We’re now looking for a dynamic intern to join our Small & Medium Business (SMB) team in Riyadh, supporting some of the region’s exciting challenger brands and fast-growing companies.

The SMB team partners with small and medium-sized businesses to help them unlock market growth through data, insights, and strategy. Our clients are ambitious, agile brands that require commercial excellence and tailored solutions — and that’s exactly what we deliver.

As an intern, you will support the Commercial Account Managers across various client portfolios. You’ll get hands-on experience in building proposals, reviewing sales data, preparing for client presentations, and assisting in pitch material preparation. This internship is designed to expose you to the end-to-end sales process within the FMCG space — from understanding client needs to joining real-time client meetings and helping turn insights into action.

You’ll gain a front-row view of how commercial strategies are shaped, how client relationships are managed, and how emerging brands grow their footprint in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial team in preparing client proposals, presentations, and sales decks;
• Join client meetings and observe sales presentations to gain exposure to consultative selling;
• Assist in reviewing market data, identifying key insights, and turning them into simple visuals;
• Help organize internal material and pitch documents for client meetings;
• Learn how to work with FMCG datasets and commercial KPIs;
• Collaborate with account managers in planning, coordination, and follow-up tasks;
• Take part in team discussions around growth strategy, pricing, and product positioning.

Qualifications : 

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• ​​​​​​​Strong interest and foundational knowledge in business development
• Enthusiastic about working with data and numerical analysis
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
