Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Operations Manager to join our team at the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah. As an Associate level role, this position requires at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, motivated, innovative, and possess strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness - Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and shipment activities - Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement - Manage a team of operations staff to meet goals and objectives - Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety standards - Handle customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in operations management - Strong leadership and communication skills - Proven track record of implementing innovative solutions - Ability to think critically and solve complex problems - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Knowledge of the shipping industry is a plus
