The Good Shepherd Sisters are an international congregation with convents present in 72 countries. The sisters first arrived in Singapore in 1939.
Today, the Good Shepherd Mission in Singapore and Malaysia includes services to women and girls who are survivors of domestic violence and exploitation; children in disadvantaged households, in both residential and non-residential settings. Other services are those for youth and families, migrant workers, indigenous people. It provides pastoral and diocesan ministries such as retreats, family life; early childhood, kindergarten and primary education; and rural community development.
The Good Shepherd services collaborate and network with government and non-governmental organisations to promote justice, peace and unity.
