ASM Pacific Technology Ltd. was founded in 1975. We are the world's leading supplier of semiconductor assembly and SMT equipment with a global presence in more than 30 countries. As a Group that achieved US$2.25 billion in revenue in 2017, ASMPT has 11 manufacturing facilities in China, Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore, The Netherlands, and The United Kingdom.

 

Our core key businesses are the Back-end Equipment, Materials and SMT Solutions. Our Back-end Equipment Segment has been retaining its number one position in the global market since 2002. The SMT Solutions has taken over its peers to become number one in the market while our lead frame business is the world’s fourth biggest supplier. ASMPT’s Back-end Equipment Business offers a diverse product range from bonding to molding and trim & form to the integration of these activities into complete in-line systems for the microelectronics, semiconductor, photonics, and optoelectronics industries. Its Materials Business provides customers with a variety of leadframes such as etched and stamping as well as advanced packaging materials.  ASMPT’ SMT Solutions develops and sells best-in-class DEK printers for the SMT, semiconductor and solar markets as well as best-in-class SIPLACE SMT placement solutions. We have always been committed to R&D as it is one of our competitive edges that support the growth of our organization. As such, we have 11 R&D centers worldwide and more than 1,000 patents on key leading edge technologies.
