Executive, Merchandising (Adventure Cove) - with Growth Opportunities

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Merchandising, the incumbent will undertake buying and product development processes for Adventure Cove Waterpark at Resorts World at Sentosa.

Job Responsibilities

The incumbent shall:

• Undertake trendspotting and assortment planning processes for consumer merchandise suitable for Adventure Cove Waterpark
• Undertake product development and sampling processes and obtaining approvals in a timely manner for various product categories
• Undertake local and international sourcing and brand partnerships for the Waterpark
• Handle product launches at stores and accurate sales reporting
• Support the Senior Manager, Merchandising to achieve sales and sell-through objectives
• Report efficiently on quantitative and qualitative aspects and key data of the business
• Develop knowledge of the markets, gather, and provide market information and analyse sales, products, prices, consumer behaviours, customer needs, trends, and competition
• Work with the Visual Merchandising Team on the in-store display designs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Merchandising or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of merchandising experience, preferably with Retail and Budget Planning experience
• Possess good project management and negotiation skills
• Possess proficient level of research and analytics abilities
• Good communication skills with the ability to conduct presentations to various stakeholders
• Good team player
• Self-motivated, pro-active and creative
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
• Basic design knowhow is a plus
