Responsibilities:
 

• Optimize inventory levels for the designated portfolio of items to meet agreed customer stock holding requirements and internal inventory targets.
• Analyze and interpret ERP recommendations based on system settings, taking appropriate actions accordingly.
• Issue purchase orders and work orders within lead times to uphold delivery alignment with internal and customer On Time Delivery objectives.
• Engage directly with the supply base to facilitate efficient communication leading to prompt order acknowledgments and transparent availability information, updating the ERP system accordingly.
• Identify opportunities for sourcing enhancements and cost reductions, overseeing their implementation.
• Maintain precise system data including purchase costs, lead times, and MOQs.
• Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies promptly, providing assistance to the finance department when needed.
• Coordinate the disposition of non-conforming material, promptly notifying suppliers to ensure minimal disruption to the supply chain.
   

Requirements: 

• Efficient in MS Office.
• Communications and negotiation skills with good business sense.
• Knowledge on procurement and sourcing processes
• At least 5 years experiences in mechanical hardware fastener and good knowledge of supplier base in Asia region
