We’re assembling a team of hardworking, service-oriented individuals who are as passionate about the food and beverage (F&B) and service industry as we are. In the role of Kitchen Assistant, the candidate will provide daily operational support in our kitchen. This position is pivotal for someone who is self-driven, passionate, and organized. We are looking for an individual who matches our spirit and ambitions, and someone who will challenge us to constantly push our boundaries. The Kitchen Assistant will be a vital part of our kitchen team, primarily focusing on preparing high-quality sandwiches and assisting in various kitchen duties. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn and grow in the culinary field.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items following specific recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in the daily setup and breakdown of the kitchen area.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and communication.
• Learn and assist in other areas of the kitchen, including food prep for other menu items, as directed by the Cafe Lead.
• Contribute to menu ideas and participate in kitchen inventory management.

• Passion for food and a keen interest in learning culinary skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus but not necessary.
• Location is at Clarke Quay.
