Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Executive to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our brands. The ideal candidate must be passionate about marketing, possess excellent communication skills and help to develop effective brand-building strategies. You will brainstorm ideas to meet sales and marketing objectives, help execute plans and report on campaign results. You should also have knowledge and a proven track record of executing successful marketing campaigns within the FMCG food industry.

An analytical mind and research skills are essential to this job. If you are an ideas generator, excellent communicator and team player, we would like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing and Brand Management

  • Manage and enhance brands, ensuring consistent messaging, design and brand identity across all offline and online touchpoints. 
  • Identify consumer trends, preferences and competitor activities and utilise insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer insights and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and challenges. 
  • Assist in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the business goals and objectives. This encompasses but not limited to digital marketing strategies such as SEO, SEM and social media campaigns.
  • Conceptualise, plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media and traditional media.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral including advertising materials, packaging designs and digital content across various channels such as social media, email, and website.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales and supply chain to ensure alignment and integration of marketing initiatives.
  • Liaise and work closely with in-house graphic teams, agencies, media, external partners and vendors to ensure successful implementation of marketing activities and deliverables.
  • Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of online and offline marketing efforts to evaluate ROI and inform future strategies.
  • Plan and manage campaigns and projects from concept to completion, ensuring internal alignment through key steps of the business process. Key plans include a mixture of national and tactical campaigns aimed at improving long-term brand measures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging trends and best practices in marketing to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Digital and Social Media Marketing

  • Propose and plan relevant social media and digital content calendars aligned with the Marketing Calendar (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.). Keep current on digital content trends through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Craft key product narratives and accompanying assets. Identify and engage influencers to co-create and deliver brand content.
  • Manage social media accounts and create engaging content. Utilise website CMS to update content, ensure SEO optimization and track performance.

Requirements:

  • Polytechnic Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in marketing roles within the FMCG food industry, with a strong understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Self-starter, resilient, able to react quickly in a fast-paced environment, can collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Hands-on knowledge of social media, Google Ads, is preferred
