Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Business Development to establish clear, identified and achievable sales targets
- Proactively secure new accounts for meetings and events market segment of the Hotel in line with overall financial business mix objectives and implements strategies and action plans and clinch potential business
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in the agreed segment through direct sales solicitation, telephone, fax, contact and written communication
- Arrange familiarization/ site inspection trips to Hotels by major clients
- Conduct market research and competitors surveys
- Prepare daily and other reports as needed
- To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
