Position: Assistant Finance Manager

Location: Lakeside, West Region

Salary Package: Basic up to $7K + Profit Sharing + Performance Bonus 

Company Overview:

My client, a leading F&B company involved in various aspects of the industry is seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Finance to support various financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure accurate and timely financial closing processes, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements and balance sheet schedules.
2. Prepare cash flow forecasts and analysis for both actual and projected scenarios.
3. Conduct flux analysis and generate management reports with visual aids such as charts and graphs for enhanced communication of financial insights.
4. Perform and review quarterly GST submissions and manage tax-related matters in coordination with external parties.
5. Coordinate financial activities with corporate secretaries, external auditors, tax agents, and government agencies.
6. Lead the monthly closing process and collaborate with other departments to streamline financial procedures.
7. Supervise a team and collaborate closely with the Head of Finance to implement process and system improvements.
8. Manage inventory and oversee standard costing practices to ensure accurate financial reporting.
9. Facilitate the budget planning exercise across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
10. Undertake ad-hoc projects assigned by the Head of Finance or CEO to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent field, with a qualified CPA designation.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial industry with inventory management responsibilities.
3. Strong technical knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Tax regulations.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
5. Proven experience in implementing process changes and driving system improvements.
6. Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
