Qualifications & experience

• Be a Business Partner in keeping management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; identifying trends and make recommendations on programs to improve the operation of the Region.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office package. Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience managing team across the region.
• Experience managing team across the region.
• Experience in Multinational environment and Shared Service exposure.
• ERP system exposure, preferably SAP, SAP Concur.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Manages all General Accounting functions for the Singapore office including purchase orders, cash management, payroll with support from Shared Service based in Chennai on accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor invoices, employee expenses, bank reconciliation, maintaining the general ledger.
• Plays a primary role in the administration of all IT and Purchasing related office matters.
• Establishes and maintains effective compliance with all Corporate policies and procedures, local laws and FCPA in accordance with good practice of internal controls across the regional offices.
• Effective coordination with SSC in ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all accounting and financial reporting activities across regional offices.
• Manage the company secretarial function to ensure accurate and compliant record keeping and lodgement with companies’ office regulator.
• Timely and accurate preparation and lodgement of statutory accounts and tax returns for Singapore.
• Coordinate Internal and External audit engagements across the regional offices.
• Lead, Develop and Evaluate the Finance team.
• Be a Business Partner in keeping management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; identifying trends and make recommendations on programs to improve the operation of the Region.
